Our Ancestors Want Us to Be Mushrooms

Join us at the Brooklyn Apothecary on Wednesday September 9th at 7pm for a dive into an enchanting nature-based guide book on living more deeply in relationship with ourselves, our communities, and our planet by embodying the innate qualities of the wondrous mycelial world.

Madison will guide the group through the 8 characteristics humans and mushrooms share:

  • Humility
  • Beauty and delight
  • Creativity and unique gifts
  • Living in cycles and decomposition
  • Protection
  • Healing and nourishment
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Mystery and room for magic

- as explored in Our Ancestors Want Us to Be Mushrooms.

Each one comes with reflection prompts and small group conversation, so bring a pen, a journal, or whatever tools of expression you like. Participants will leave our time together feeling more connected to others, the planet, creativity, mystery and magic. Copies of the book will be available for sale.

Included:

  • Adaptogenic tea blend
  • 15% off Anima Mundi herbal products to shop in store (including our mushroom powders)
  • Option to buy the book straight from the author

Space is limited, please purchase tickets in advance. Refunds accepted up to 24 hours prior to event unless cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
